Painters: Laura Hanan & Marty Fehl
Laura Hanan and Marty Fehl are accomplished professional artists represented in local, national, and international private and corporate collections. Their expertise ranges from the creation of wonderful original works and commissions as individual artists, to selection and presentation of dynamic and well-executed contemporary exhibits, to custom design and master craftsmanship in professional framing services using conservation methods and materials.
Laura Hanan
Artwork by Laura is best described as abstract expressionism. Vivid color and energetic brush strokes define her work and belie the notion that the infamous Northwest Mystics and bucolic pictures of Mount Rainier and salmon rule the artworld north of Portland. Her preferred medium is oil paint.
Laura knows the creative side as well as the business side of fine art. She has three college degrees and has been a business and property owner for years.
Marty Fehl
Marty paints in oil and acrylics, quietly capturing the essence of his subjects in a rich blended technique that has been compared to the Dutch masters. The forty-one-year-old artist has broad painting and illustration skills ranging from photographic realism to portraiture to abstract expressionism. His work is best described as realism with a twist. He hones his meticulous framing skills in a 2,500 square foot frame shop.
The artists do collaborative work and welcome commission pieces.
